11 Things | One To Nothin'

11 Things

The other day I was 'tagged' by one of the funniest bloggers I've ever had the pleasure of blogstalking, Cheeky Cheeky. Needless to say, I was squeaking with excitement.. so get ready to learn some random shiznit from the life of me.
Here's how it works:

1. Post these rules
2. Post a photo of yourself and 11 random things
3. Answer the questions set for you in the original post
4. Create 11 new questions and tag people to answer them
5. Go to their blog/twitter and tell them that you've tagged them.

Random thing #1: I have a quirky love for movies that no one else (except my sister) likes. Grease II? I'll sing you "Cool Rider" all day, and you can't tell me that "Reproduction" wasn't hilarious. I think I may even like it better than the original (go ahead, freak out. I will allow it.) Also, the Amanda Bynes movie "She's The Man" is one of my all-time favorites.

Random thing #2: McDonald's sweet tea is disgustingly sweet, like I'm pretty sure they do a 70 to 30 percent sugar to tea ratio, so normally that really grosses me out. But when I'm hung over, all I want is disgustingly sweet 99-cent sweet tea from McDonald's. I've been known to buy two large ones knowing that I will drink the first one in about 5 minutes.

Random thing #3: Lately I've been listening to Rhapsody radio on my iPhone everywhere I go. It's becoming a problem because a really great song will come on in the car once I've reached my destination and it's really, really difficult to make myself turn off the music to accomplish the task at hand. Some of my favorites so far are 90s Hits & One Hit Wonders.

Random thing #4: Savage Garden's Affirmation was the first CD I ever owned.

Random thing #5: Zac was my favorite Hanson and I thought we were going to get married.

Random thing #6: I love all Kevin Smith (Silent Bob) movies. Except "Chasing Amy".. that one was way too weird. If you haven't seen "Mallrats," stop what you're doing and go watch it.. now. I think it's on Netflix. You'll thank me later.

Random thing #7: Ever since I was a baby I wanted to try everything. As a result, I have participated in gymnastics, soccer, ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, bowling, softball, weight lifting, cross country and track.

Random thing #8: Even though I have been swimming since I was very little, I never learned "proper" technique, so I'm self-conscious about looking like a dying fish while trying to do freestyle. This is why I've never done a triathlon, and I hope to one day feel confident enough in my swimming to do one.

Random thing #9: I have three piercings in each ear.

Random thing #10: I have had a trampoline in my backyard ever since I can remember. My cousin and I (he's kind of like my twin brother) used to do flips off our tree house onto the trampoline. Also, putting the sprinkler under the trampoline is the best thing ever. It makes little rainbows and tons of mud (we used to play "Chocolate Factory" and make mud pies all day.) Sometimes I lay on the trampoline to think/meditate/cry/etc.

(This is me and my cousin ,Wade, tailgating at the FL/GA football game)

Random thing #11: My family loves Spam. Yea, the meat substance that comes in a can. We make spamburgers and they are delicious. I know you're gagging right now thinking about it, but you're just gonna have to trust me. They're awesome. You have to drink Pepsi when you eat them. It's required.

As for the questions Carmen asked of me..

1. What's the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?
Brush my teeth. I hate morning breath so, so very much.
2. If you could tell your 14-year-old self one thing- what would it be?
That guy you're dating will eventually have a tri-hawk and do a loooot of drugs. Don't take it too hard when he dumps you. (And I wouldn't listen, of course, because he's soooo hawtttt lolz)
3. Who's your biggest girl crush?
Shakira. This video makes me swoon. This one too... oh, and this one.
4. When is the last time you peed your pants?
I believe when I was very, very young and dreamed that I was on the toilet. I have made other people pee their pants from laughing so hard in my more recent history. I'm pretty proud of those times.
5. Who's your biggest inspiration?
That's a hard question.. I think everyone in my immediate family is a huge inspiration to me. I admire the way my brother looks at and interacts with life. I love the drive and ambition of my dad and sister, Britni, and I would be honored to be as compassionate and caring as my mom and sister, Brandy. And, of course, I would do anything to be half as awesome as my Grandma is one day.
6. Would you rather be a mermaid or have a pet unicorn?
I'd rather be a mermaid. And I want my hair to be bright red. And you can bet your ass I wouldn't trade being able to breathe under water for some douchey prince.
7. What's your favorite breakfast cereal?
Corn Pops.
8. Who's your favorite Spice Girl? (No, you can't say honorary Spice Girl David Beckham.)
Sporty Spice. I was always Sporty Spice.
9. Who's the last person you said "I love you" to?
idk, my bff Jess?
10. What's your "happy place"?
Somewhere with loud music.. Concerts, I think.
11. If you had to jump off a cliff without a parachute, would you rather kick back and enjoy the ride, never knowing when you're going to hit the ground or jump face first, seeing it coming and knowing when exactly when your last moment would be?
I would kick back and enjoy the ride. Free fallin', baby.

1. Who was your favorite Power Ranger?
2. Skittles or M&Ms?
3. When was the last time you dropped the F-bomb?
4. What blog do you super-stalk to the point where you would run up and hug the author if you saw her/him in person?
5. What's one of your biggest/favorite accomplishments?
6. Did you have an imaginary friend as a kid (or now?) Do describe.
7. If you had to get a tattoo RIGHT NOW what would it be and where?
8. What movie are you completely embarrassed to love?
9. What do you do to get over a breakup? (Ok, I might just be looking for advice on this one..)
10. Coke or Pepsi?
11. What song makes you cringe when you hear the first 2 seconds of it on the radio or otherwise?

I  hope you all enjoyed the randomness of this post.
