You guys, I found snow! Chad and I drove to Tahoe and by the time we arrived at the cutest little dog-friendly cottage (Rustic Cottages) in North Lake Tahoe, the most perfect little snowflakes were falling directly onto my tongue. It was Ziggy's first time seeing that white stuff, and I took over 300 pictures, so this photo dump was me being picky. You're welcome. We ate a delicious Thanksgiving dinner, drank a whole lot of wine, hiked snow covered trails, Ziggy sprinted back and forth in the powder, we made snow angels, went ice skating, soaked in a hot spring and rolled around in the snow before running back into the hot water. It was a pretty epic turkey day weekend.
How did you spend your Thanksgiving?
What a perfect adventure! Tahoe is on my must-visit list of places to, well... visit! haha Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteSo much sweetness and cuteness in one post. Glad you had a happy Thanksgiving getaway!
ReplyDeleteLOVE ALL OF THIS! <3 Heart is so full.
ReplyDeleteholy picturesque!!! That looks amazing! Also ten points for the blanket scarf, solidarity!
ReplyDeleteBeing that I live in the Bay Area, I have to visit this place. The lake view looks fantastic. It's so great because I spent Thanksgiving weekend in a cabin in the mountains surrounded by snow (and with my dog), too! We went up to Sierra City.
